Purple Butterflies
​Looking through my old poetry books made me realize something: I daydream about love. I also missed my childhood, the moments when I had everything—the wonder, the magic, the spark.

Can I still rekindle some of the old spark I’d lost along the way? To take a snapshot of my earliest memories of writing, I go back into the dusty corner of my childhood and pull out the nostalgia.

At first, the words feel empty, a bittersweet reminder that I’m getting older. But then, the love begins to flood my heart again.
